C.Watson 'A Touch of Pink' Fashion Show

Metropolitan Fashion is pleased to announce their second fashion show featuring the incredibly talented designer Christine Watson , on 29th of October 2014. After the huge success of our first collaboration, Christine won Designer Talent 2014. We have decided to take advantage of new opportunities! It’s time for you to see this season’s exclusive collection of Christine’s creations.

The new collection “Touch of Pink” has been inspired by Scottish culture, representing traditional families back in the day: courageous men and woman. “I have incorporated Tartan as part of my Theme, using Black and pink as my main colour pallet. The black represents their dominant side and the pink represents their feminine side” says Christine.

October is well known as the month of breast cancer awareness, hence Metropolitan Fashion believes “Touch of pink” would be a great way to end this month. For this good cause a raffle will be held in aid of Cancer Research.

Christine Watson... Designer Talent 2014

In January we had a show to find a designer talent and we did with the help of Lynne McCrossan, Ruth Walker and Colin Gilchrist.... The WINNER is ...... CHRISTINE WATSON. 

As the winner of the show we put together a wee little gift of a photoshoot for her. She is not just Designer Talent 2014 but she is one of the first designer to sign on with Metropolitan Fashion Show for fashion shows to come.

Designer Talent 2014

Our previous show was a wonderful event, showcasing some of the talents of Scotland under one roof. It was on Thursday 30th January 2014 at Le Monde, Edinburgh , Scotland. 

Designer Talent 2014 was a competition to find some of the best fashion designers. The judges were well known and fashion guru's of Scotland. The designers showcased some of their best pieces from dresses, skirts, trousers and more.
